Why it matters
The DDA has contracted with Beckett & Raeder for downtown streetscape master plan design. Planning Commission members, Tree Board, DDA members, and community members have expressed concern that the streetscape process is proceeding in parallel with tree species selection, downtown character decisions, and CBD development review. On June 10, the DDA discussion shifted from design concepts alone to whether the public survey is clear enough and whether the outreach methods are broad enough to support a credible preferred plan.
