“It is with heartfelt gratitude that Harbor Springs will say goodby to Victor and his family as they move on to a new chapter.  Leaving one place for another is hard and at the same time, exciting and it marks a time for growth and possibility.”
“Your service to Harbor Springs was appreciated and recognized as challenging, as all city governance is.  A willingness to give all to our community should not go unnoticed.  Public service is never easy. It requires balancing competing priorities, making difficult decisions, and doing so under constant scrutiny.”
“So, all of us wish you, Victor and your family the very best and much happiness in the future. We will pray for success and happiness, your wife and children.  Thank you, Victor”.  Sincerely, Karin Reid Offield for WLHS.

Harbor Springs will soon have a change in leadership after its city manager announced he is stepping down.

Victor Sinadinoski submitted his letter of resignation to the Harbor Springs City Council on Tuesday, Oct. 28, stating he will officially exit the job on Dec. 16.

“I just decided it was the right time for me and my family,” Sinadinoski said when asked why he made the decision to leave.

Sinadinoski has been city manager since 2019. Before that, he was the director of planning and economic development for the town of Milton, Vermont.

“It has been an honor to serve this community for the past six-and-a-half years,” Sinadinoski wrote in his letter of resignation. “With the direction and guidance of council, the dedicated and knowledgeable city staff have been able to advance many needed initiatives, projects plans and policies. While much work lies ahead, the city is in an excellent position to tackle new and ongoing challenges.”

Sinadinoski said he was not ready to say what his plans were for after his resignation. Mayor Tom Graham Jr. did not respond to a request for comment.
