City Council Member Michael Behrmann’s Home Hits the Market – A New Chapter Begins!

City Council Member Michael Behrmann, a dedicated and passionate voice for our community, has officially listed his home for sale—and with it, he’ll soon be closing this chapter and beginning a new one in a different town. While we’re sad to see him go, we’re incredibly grateful for the energy, time, and care he’s poured into making our city a better place.

Michael has set a wonderful example of civic service, and now it’s time for someone new to step up! Once his home sells, his city council seat will become available. That opens the door for you—yes, you! Are you someone who’s conscientious, curious, detail-oriented, and truly cares about your community?

We’re looking for individuals interested in volunteering as a temporary council member—or perhaps even running for the full two-year term. This is your chance to have a direct impact on local decisions and help shape the future of our city.

If you’re ready to make a difference, contact City Clerk Nick Whitaker at City Hall to get the paperwork started. The community needs engaged citizens like you—just like Michael Behrmann—to help lead the way!
